The harder problem is linguistic. Japanese has no word spaces, so search engines and your own on-site search both depend on correct morphological tokenisation (MeCab, Sudachi, or an equivalent). A programmatic template that concatenates place names and product nouns without particle logic produces titles that read as broken Japanese to a native speaker, and Japanese searchers bounce from broken Japanese immediately — engagement metrics follow within days.
Then there's script variety: kanji, hiragana, katakana and romaji can all describe the same entity, and a real query set splits across all four.
